Testing Core Gameplay Elements:

Battlefield Labs will focus on iterative testing of key gameplay aspects. The initial phases will concentrate on core combat and destruction mechanics, followed by weapon, vehicle, and gadget balancing. Finally, the testing will culminate in evaluating the integration of these elements within maps, game modes, and squad dynamics. The established Conquest and Breakthrough modes will be included, offering opportunities to refine existing gameplay.

Conquest and Breakthrough Modes:

  • Conquest: Large-scale battles centered on capturing control points (flags). Teams compete with a limited number of tickets, lost upon respawn or enemy flag control.
  • Breakthrough: Asymmetrical gameplay where attackers strive to capture sectors while defenders obstruct their progress. A ticket system is employed, with attackers regaining tickets upon sector capture and additional tickets awarded for eliminating remaining enemy soldiers.

The class system will also undergo refinement based on player feedback. While confident in the game's progress, Battlefield Studios recognizes the invaluable contribution of player input to achieve the ideal balance of form, function, and feel.
