Konami has confirmed that the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake is on track for a 2025 release. Producer Noriaki Okamura, in a recent 4Gamer interview, emphasized the studio's commitment to delivering a high-quality, polished game that meets fan expectations. Okamura stated that the game is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time focused on refining details and enhancing the overall experience.
While previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, the team is now targeting next year. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The developers promise to faithfully recreate the spirit of the original while incorporating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura also hinted at new features designed to elevate the gameplay experience.
