Kingdom Come 2 Surpasses Sales Milestone

Embracer Group celebrates the phenomenal success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, reporting sales nearing the 2 million mark just ten days after its February 4th release across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game initially sold 1 million copies in a single day, nearly doubling its sales within the following week.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for developer Warhorse Studios. The sequel's performance on Steam is particularly noteworthy, boasting over 250,000 peak concurrent players—a stark contrast to the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance's peak of 96,069 seven years prior. While the actual peak concurrent player count is likely higher due to console sales, precise figures remain unavailable from Sony and Microsoft.

Eight of these are from internal studios, with two from external partners.

FY 2025/26 will see the release of two triple-A titles towards its close. Other notable mid-sized releases include Gothic 1 Remake, REANIMAL, Fellowship, Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, Titan Quest II, Screamer, Echoes of the End (working title), Tides of Tomorrow, Satisfactory (console), and the full release of Wreckfest 2, alongside several currently unannounced titles.

Following recent restructuring, including layoffs and studio sales (such as Gearbox and Saber Interactive), Embracer retains key studios, including 4A Games, currently developing a new entry in the Metro series.
