World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermined," offers players a novel approach to character customization: temporary height adjustment via consumable potions. These Noggenfogger Select elixirs allow for subtle height changes, stacking up to ten times for a cumulative effect. While not a full height slider, they provide a convenient and inexpensive option for players seeking minor adjustments.

The patch, currently on the Public Test Realm (PTR), also boasts significant story developments for "The War Within" and visual updates for various classes. However, the Noggenfogger elixirs are generating considerable excitement among players seeking more granular character control.

Noggenfogger Select: A Temporary Solution

The Noggenfogger Select UP and DOWN potions offer temporary height modifications, lasting 30 minutes and persisting through death. These effects, even at maximum stacks, result in relatively small height changes—a few inches at most—according to Wowhead screenshots. This contrasts with the more dramatic size alterations offered by items like the Elixir of Giant Growth or the original Noggenfogger Elixir.

These potions are available from Alchemist Pestlezugg in the Vatworks, the main Steemwheedle reputation hub in Undermine, for a modest price of just over three gold each. They are neither bound nor level-locked, facilitating easy trading between characters.

Beyond Height: A Goblin-Exclusive Emote

Alchemist Pestlezugg also sells Noggenfogger Select FRESH, a Goblin-exclusive potion that unlocks a unique lean emote. While similar emotes exist in the game files for other races, this potion provides Goblins with exclusive access to this stylish animation.

The Height Slider Debate

While many players welcome these new options, the desire for a permanent height slider remains strong. However, such a feature would likely require a significant character customization overhaul, making its immediate implementation unlikely. Until then, players will continue to utilize existing methods such as the Seabed Leviathan’s Citrine in Cyrce’s Circlets, Colossus Warrior forms, and consumable height-altering items like the Noggenfogger Select potions.
