Yamada Heiando, a renowned lacquerware artisan, has unveiled a captivating collection of Pokémon bowls inspired by the Chinese Zodiac. These handcrafted pieces feature Pikachu (Rat), Ekans (Snake), and Dragonite (Dragon), each imbued with symbolic meaning for a child's development. Pikachu embodies kindness, Ekans represents growth, and Dragonite symbolizes openness.
These charming bowls, described by the creators as "gentle guardians," are designed to bring joy to family meals. Yamada Heiando emphasizes their commitment to creating safe and beautiful products for babies and children, fostering a sense of shared happiness and growth.
Initially sold out on January 17th, 2025, these limited-edition bowls will be available again starting January 31st. A purchase limit of two per person applies. Each set costs 16,500 JPY (approximately $105 USD), with international shipping available (additional charges may apply).

Pokémon Center Exclusive: Eevee Evolutions Figures
The Pokémon Company also launched a series of exclusive Eevee evolution figures on January 16th, 2025, through their official online store, Pokémon Center. The initial release includes Jolteon (skillful), Flareon (satisfied), and Vaporeon (playful). Further Eevee evolutions will be released in sets of three throughout the year, each with unique personality traits.
These collectible figures are priced at $29.99 USD each and are available now on the Pokémon Center website. A limited-edition release is also teased for the future.
