Leaked 2005 James Bond audition tapes surface online, showcasing Henry Cavill's impressive performance. The footage, discovered on the Ron South YouTube channel, also features auditions from Sam Worthington, Rupert Friend, and Anthony Starr.

Games Radar reports that Cavill's audition has garnered significant attention, with many, including Casino Royale director Martin Campbell, praising his "tremendous" performance. While Campbell reportedly favored Cavill, the role ultimately went to Daniel Craig due to other executives' preferences.

Cavill later fulfilled his spy aspirations in the film Argylle, starring alongside a renowned cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, and Catherine O’Hara. Despite the star-studded ensemble, the film received mixed reviews, scoring a mere 4/10 on IGN.

Cavill's career continues to flourish, with notable roles as Superman in the DC universe, Geralt of Rivia in Netflix's The Witcher, and numerous other projects.
