How to Bathe & Clean Yourself in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Maintaining a clean appearance in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 significantly impacts NPC interactions and quest outcomes. Neglecting hygiene results in negative perceptions, hindering dialogue and persuasion checks. Here's how to stay spick and span:
Why Cleanliness Matters in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
A pristine appearance improves NPC interactions. Looking dirty or disheveled reduces your chances of successful conversations and persuasion, even with high Speech skills. Cleanliness directly affects your in-game charisma.
How to Clean Yourself in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The game offers three primary cleaning methods: troughs, bathing spots, and bathhouses.
Troughs
Commonly found in towns and outposts, troughs provide a basic cleanse. Interact with a trough to wash away some dirt and blood, but this method doesn't clean your clothing.
Bathing Spots
Located near larger bodies of water (rivers, ponds), bathing spots offer a more thorough cleaning than troughs. Submerging yourself partially cleanses both you and your clothes, though not completely. An example is found west of the Nomads’ and Cumans’ Camps in the Trotsky region.
Bathhouses
For the most effective cleaning, visit a bathhouse (typically in larger towns). While requiring a small Groschen fee, bathhouses provide the most thorough clean, removing all dirt and blood and significantly cleaning your clothing. Regular bathhouse visits are recommended for optimal hygiene.
