Kevin Gibson, The Sims Production Director, shared with Xbox Wire, "Our amazing players have shown us that no one captures life quite like The Sims, and we wanted to commemorate this shared journey." He highlighted the game's impact across generations, touching millions of lives. He emphasized that this success is entirely due to the unwavering support of players over the past two decades. "Every Simmer, throughout the years and across all the ways you've played, is part of this 25-year adventure, and this is our way of saying thank you."

The biggest news? The original The Sims and The Sims 2, complete with all their DLC, are back! Available now on Steam and the EA store, individually or as a Birthday Bundle, these titles offer a nostalgic trip back to the beginning. This is a significant event for Simmers, as these games have been unavailable for purchase for almost a decade. EA has addressed the compatibility issues with modern systems, making them accessible to a new generation of players.

The Sims 4's "Blast From The Past" event introduces iconic items from earlier games, including retro furniture, clothing, and décor. New items will be released weekly over four weeks, featuring fun additions like neon inflatable chairs, a three-tiered cake, a light-up dance floor, and even rotary phones.

The Sims FreePlay celebrates with a Birthday Update, transporting players back to the early 2000s. This includes new Live Events ("The One with the Coffee Shop" and "Reality Island"), a velour tracksuit, 25 days of daily gifts, and a Social Town museum showcasing The Sims' history.
