Marvel Rivals Showcases Its Season 1 Darkhold Battle Pass
Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls – A Dark and Bloody Battle Pass
Get ready for Marvel Rivals Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! This season plunges players into a dark, gothic world dominated by Dracula, with a battle pass boasting 10 exclusive skins and a host of other rewards.
The Darkhold battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers a wealth of cosmetic items. Complete the pass to earn 600 Lattice and 600 Units – enough to potentially purchase future cosmetics or even the next battle pass. Rewards include not only the 10 featured skins, but also sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. Don't worry about finishing it before the season ends; the pass doesn't expire.
The trailer showcases some stunning new skins: Magneto as King Magnus (House of M inspired), a Wild West-themed Rocket Raccoon, a Dark Souls-esque Iron Man in golden armor, Peni Parker in a vibrant blue and white suit, and Namor in a green and gold outfit.
Here's a complete list of the Season 1 Battle Pass skins:
- Loki - All-Butcher
- Moon Knight - Blood Moon Knight
- Rocket Raccoon - Bounty Hunter
- Peni Parker - Blue Tarantula
- Magneto - King Magnus
- Namor - Savage Sub-Mariner
- Iron Man - Blood Edge Armor
- Adam Warlock - Blood Soul
- Scarlet Witch - Emporium Matron
- Wolverine - Blood Berserker
The season's dark aesthetic is evident throughout, from Wolverine's Van Helsing-inspired skin to the blood moon casting its shadow over New York City in the new maps. Loki's All-Butcher skin is menacing in dark green and black, while Moon Knight sports a black and white contrast. Scarlet Witch's signature red and purple dress returns, and Adam Warlock is clad in golden armor and a crimson cape.
While the battle pass is generating considerable excitement, the absence of skins for the newly introduced Fantastic Four (Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic) has surprised some. These characters will be available, but their cosmetics will be sold separately in the in-game shop. With Season 1 promising so much, fans eagerly await NetEase Games' next move.
