Hades 2 Receives Major Update!

Hades 2's "Olympic Update," the game's first major content drop, introduces a significant expansion to the Underworld experience. This update boosts the power of Melinoe and her adversaries, while simultaneously unveiling a breathtaking new area to explore.

Currently in early access on PC (with a full release and console launch anticipated for next year), Hades 2 has already garnered praise for its replayability and substantial content. The Olympic Update further expands this, adding significant gameplay hours with new dialogue and voice lines. The introduction of Olympus, the mythical abode of the Greek gods and Zeus's throne, promises even more intense encounters.

The update also features significant reworks to several Nocturnal Arms and Abilities, notably the Witch's Staff, Sister Blades, Umbral Flames, and Moonstone Axe Specials. These adjustments aim to enhance Melinoe's adaptability to various playstyles. Her Dash ability has also been refined for increased speed and responsiveness. However, the increased power of Melinoe is matched by significant enhancements to the game's enemies.

The addition of Mount Olympus brings a host of new enemies, including formidable Wardens and a powerful Guardian. Existing enemies from the Surface have also undergone adjustments:

⚫︎ Chronos: Reduced downtime between phases; minor adjustments implemented. ⚫︎ Eris: Various adjustments, notably removing her tendency to stand in flames. ⚫︎ Infernal Beast: Respawns more quickly after the first phase; minor adjustments. ⚫︎ Polyphemus: No longer summons Elite foes; other minor adjustments. ⚫︎ Charybdis: Fewer phases, increased attack intensity, and reduced downtime. ⚫︎ Headmistress Hecate: Loses invulnerability sooner after her Sisters of the Dead are defeated. ⚫︎ Ranged Enemies: Fewer enemies will simultaneously fire at the player. ⚫︎ Various other minor enemy and combat adjustments.
