J.C. Lee, the daughter of the iconic Marvel creator Stan Lee, has broken her silence in a recent interview with Business Insider, firmly denying past allegations of elder abuse against both her father and her late mother, Joan. These accusations first surfaced in 2017 following Joan Lee's passing and were prominently featured in a 2018 article by The Hollywood Reporter (THR). The THR piece painted a troubling picture, claiming that J.C. Lee pressured her parents for money and control over their assets, leading to frequent and intense confrontations. The report included serious allegations of verbal and physical abuse, supported by photos of a bruise on Joan Lee's arm, which J.C. Lee vehemently denies.

In her interview with Business Insider, J.C. Lee described the accusations as "a lie," explaining her initial silence following the THR article was due to advice from those around her. "You think I haven't regretted it to this day?" she reflected. "They are all lies. That photo is insane. I never did it." While admitting to heated arguments with her parents over financial matters, J.C. Lee insisted that these disputes never turned physical. "I never ever touched my parents," she affirmed.

Stan Lee passed away in 2018 at the age of 95 due to a heart attack. The comprehensive Business Insider interview with J.C.
