Adin Ross Promises to Stay on Kick \'For Good This Time\'
Adin Ross Recommits to Kick, Hints at "Bigger" Plans
Popular streamer Adin Ross has definitively ended speculation about his future, confirming his intention to remain on the Kick streaming platform long-term. Ross's unexpected absence from Kick earlier in 2024 fueled rumors of a potential departure, but his recent return with a new livestream, alongside fellow streamers Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, lays those rumors to rest.
Ross, a controversial yet highly successful streamer, initially joined Kick after a permanent ban from Twitch in 2023. His move, alongside other prominent creators like xQc, significantly contributed to Kick's rapid growth. While he enjoyed a successful 2023 on the platform, his abrupt hiatus in 2024 sparked widespread uncertainty and fueled speculation about a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven. However, a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven confirmed Ross's continued commitment to Kick. A subsequent tweet reinforced this commitment, promising fans a return and a long-term stay. This marked his first livestream in 74 days.
Beyond his return, Ross teased "something even bigger" on the horizon. While details remain undisclosed, many fans speculate this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he intends to expand with Kick's support. Given previous legal issues with Misfits Boxing in early 2024 surrounding unsanctioned events, the success of future Brand Risk ventures will be closely watched.
Ross's decision is a significant boost for both his fanbase and Kick itself. Kick, aiming for dominance in the streaming market, has been aggressively pursuing partnerships with top-tier creators. With statements from co-founder Bijan Tehrani about surpassing or acquiring Twitch, Ross's continued presence strengthens Kick's position in this ambitious pursuit.
