Gameplay Mechanics

• Barrel Acquisition: Accumulate 880 points to initiate a barrel round.
• Point Clearance: Reset points after three unsuccessful barrel attempts.
• Bolt Penalty: Incur a bolt for failing to score in a round.
• Bolt Accumulation: Three bolts result in a 120-point penalty.
• Surrender Penalty: Resigning incurs a penalty equal to the surrender statement, with half distributed to the other players.

Game Settings

• Victory Threshold: Surpass 1000 points to emerge victorious.
• Point Clearance: Clear points upon reaching 555 or -555 points.
• Barrel on Own Turn: Play a barrel round without bidding from opponents (see below).
• Card Redistribution: Replenish talon or hand if points fall below a threshold.
• Ace Marriage: Form a special combination with an ace and a king or queen.
• Golden Round: Participate in a round with increased point values.
• Collaborative Barrel Play: Allow multiple players to participate in a barrel round.

Barrel Game on "Own Turn"

• Eligibility: Possess 880 points and the right to initiate bidding.
• Bidding Victory: Win the bidding and acquire the talon, regardless of card strength.
• Unsuccessful Game: Incur an unsuccessful attempt and a 120-point penalty.
• Point Clearance: Clear points after three unsuccessful attempts.
• Non-Own Turn Participation: Players with 880 points but without "own turn" participate in the barrel round without earning points or incurring unsuccessful attempts.
