Shadow Ninja: A Side-Scrolling Action Game

Shadow Ninja is a side-scrolling action game with a dark art style. Players assume the role of Shimazu, a samurai whose son was kidnapped and wife murdered by the evil demon Takeda, aided by another demon, Fudo. Takeda was sealed away by Shimazu ten years prior. Now, Shimazu must seek revenge and rescue his son. The game requires strategic thinking, memorization, and a keen focus on avoiding traps.

Samurai skills can be upgraded using coins and diamonds collected during gameplay:

• Dash: A close-combat move capable of eliminating targets instantly, but ineffective at long range.
• Disappearing: Allows for stealth attacks, surprising enemies.
• Throw Shuriken: Requires multiple throws to eliminate enemies, but effective for long-range attacks.
• Checkpoints: While fixed in position, players can create a new checkpoint at their current location after progressing through several levels.
