Introducing our versatile portable media player, which doubles as a UPnP DLNA Digital Media Renderer (DMR). This player supports seamless playback of a wide range of media formats, including SSA/ASS/SUP subtitles, ensuring an immersive viewing experience. Users can easily access their files via the Storage Access Framework (SAF), which provides a secure and user-controlled environment for file management.

Our player offers full-featured SSA/ASS subtitle support, with the flexibility for users to add or manage their own font files. These subtitles can be dimmed to enhance visibility during HDR and Dolby Vision (DV) playback, which boast higher contrast and brightness. Furthermore, the font size is adjustable, allowing for a personalized viewing experience. From version 5.1 onwards, support extends to SUP (Blu-ray) and VobSub (DVD) subtitles, which can be either embedded in MKV files or loaded separately. Users can select and apply a single subtitle file or choose from compressed Zip/7Z/RAR packages during playback.

Designed with advanced features, this player excels in playing HDR/DV content, supports digital audio passthrough, MKV chapter navigation, frame-by-frame stepping, and offers options for audio track selection and delay, as well as subtitles selection and time offset. Additional functionalities include displaying frame rates and automatically adjusting refresh rates for optimal viewing.

Successful Dolby Vision playback has been confirmed on the NVidia Shield TV 2019. Users can rotate videos as needed and utilize full-screen zoom by pinching, enhancing the control over their viewing experience.

Originally designed for segmented files playback, our player supports the m3u8 (HLS media list) format, initially intended for TS files but now compatible with mp4 and flv formats as well.

The latest update includes fixes for subtitles auto-selection, the first chapter starting at 0:00 issue, and new system adaptation. Users can now set the default language for subtitles in the selection box. Additionally, it's possible to pick a subtitle file directly from the Storage Access Framework content page, which supports files from local storage, Samba/Windows sharing, or WebDAV clients—the SAF content provider apps of your choice. Efforts have also been made to resolve a DMR service crash bug, ensuring a smoother streaming experience.
