"Vampire Survivors Unveils SaGa-Themed DLC and Cross-Save Update"

Today marks an exciting milestone for fans of Vampire Survivors as the game unveils its most expansive update to date with the free DLC, Emerald Diorama. This update introduces a unique crossover with Square Enix’s renowned fantasy RPG series, SaGa, bringing a fresh infusion of JRPG elements to the beloved survival game.

Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors

The Emerald Diorama DLC transforms the gameplay experience by introducing a new stage designed like a mini world map, allowing players to explore different worlds within the game. This update is packed with over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to singers who enchant with cursed melodies.

Additionally, players can now arm themselves with 16+ new weapons and utilize the innovative Glimmer system, which lets you randomly acquire new skills during your run. The auditory experience is also enhanced with nine new music tracks added to the game's soundtrack.

To dive into the Emerald Diorama, navigate to Moongolow and engage with a new merchant. Purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, and progressively unlock the new content from there. This DLC also introduces the concept of character parties, enabling you to assemble your own mini squad for an enriched gaming experience.

Further enriching the gameplay, two new Adventures have been added, each featuring six chapters. "To End an Ice Age" enhances the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" extends the narrative of the new DLC.

Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update

Concurrent with the Emerald Diorama, the base game receives an additional free update named The Coop. As the name implies, this update revolves around chickens, introducing a new character, Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that speeds up gameplay.

Players can unlock a variety of achievements and access Darkana. To fully unlock The Coop's potential, you must collect 500 lifetime floor chickens. A useful tip for maximizing this update: refrain from killing any enemies for the first minute of gameplay in The Coop to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it further with Parm Aegis will unlock Gazebo.
