Navigating the Garbage Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

After leaving the Lesser Zone, your journey continues into the challenging Garbage area. Due to its distance from your starting base, encountering traders will take time.

Slag Heap traders in Stalker 2 Garbage area.

Initially, quest markers won't directly guide you to the Slag Heap hub. Progressing the main storyline is necessary; completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest unlocks this location. This involves visiting the Detention Center and Laboratory before meeting Scar.

The Slag Heap, situated north of the laboratory, can be explored earlier if desired. Two traders await within:

Boozer: Located at the entrance, Boozer runs the bar, selling food and drinks while accepting various trade goods. He's easily found.
Huron: Found by heading left and entering the open door to your right. Huron specializes in weapons and equipment. His room also houses your stash, allowing for secure storage. Interacting with Huron also initiates a side quest.

While not a trader, a Tech resides at the back of the left corridor. A conversation with this individual (Diode) is crucial for main quest progression.
