STALKER 2 PC System Requirements Are Now More Demanding
STALKER 2's demanding PC system requirements revealed: Prepare for intense hardware needs!
With launch just a week away (November 20th), the final PC system requirements for STALKER 2 have been unveiled, highlighting significant hardware demands, even at minimum settings. High-end rigs are essential for 4K gaming and high frame rates.
The updated requirements are detailed below:
OS | Windows 10 x64 Windows 11 x64 | |||
---|---|---|---|---|
RAM | 16GB Dual Channel | 32GB Dual Channel | ||
Storage | SSD ~160GB |
Reaching smooth 4K gameplay at high frame rates demands a powerful system. "Epic" settings are particularly taxing, potentially surpassing even Crysis' infamous 2007 demands. Storage needs have increased from 150GB to 160GB; an SSD is strongly recommended for optimal loading times.
Upscaling technologies, Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR, will be included to improve visual fidelity without sacrificing performance. While FSR implementation specifics remain undisclosed, software ray tracing is confirmed. Hardware ray tracing, however, is currently under development and unlikely for launch, according to Lead Producer Slava Lukyanenka.
