Sonic Forces, Sonic Dream Team, and Sonic Dash are all set to receive updates ahead of Sonic the Hedgehog 3’s launch

Sega unleashes a wave of Sonic mobile game updates timed with the imminent release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Across Sonic Dream Team, Sonic Dash, and Sonic Forces, players can expect fresh content inspired by the upcoming film.

First up, Sonic Forces receives a significant update on December 12th, introducing a brand-new Metro-city Zone. This thrilling addition features three challenging tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other classic characters. Complete the levels before seeing the movie for a complete experience!

Next, Sonic Dream Team on Apple Arcade gets its update on December 18th, adding Shadow the Hedgehog as a playable character with unique abilities. Unlock him by tackling Tails’ Challenges. Shadow’s Chaos Control and Chaos Shift powers allow for time manipulation, freezing foes and the environment.

This update also introduces new powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost for all characters, along with exclusive upgrades (including Double Chaos Shift) for Shadow. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks are included, plus a revamped tutorial for new players.

Lastly, Sonic Dash's update arrives on December 20th, offering the chance to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic by collecting cards. Daily challenges provide additional rewards. Sonic Dash+ on Apple Arcade will receive its Shadow-themed update in January.
