"Shroodle Acquisition Guide for Pokemon GO"
The new year in *Pokemon GO* has been bustling with excitement for trainers, offering a variety of new Pokemon to catch and add to their collections. After snagging Fidough, the next Pokemon on the horizon is Shroodle. However, as is common with many recent additions, acquiring Shroodle won't be as simple as encountering it in the wild.
When Did Shroodle Come to Pokemon GO?
The Toxic Mouse Pokemon, Shroodle, made its grand entrance into *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, as a highlight of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. This Pokemon was first introduced in *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, bringing its unique charm to the broader Pokemon universe. Following its debut event, Shroodle will remain available for trainers to collect.
Can Shroodle Be Shiny?
Unfortunately, at its initial release, Shroodle will not be available in its Shiny form in *Pokemon GO*. Trainers eager to get their hands on a Shiny Shroodle will need to wait for a future event, possibly one themed around Poison-type Pokemon or involving Team GO Rocket.

How To Get Shroodle in Pokemon GO
In recent trends, debut Pokemon like Shroodle aren't immediately available as wild spawns. Instead, to add Shroodle to your Pokedex, you'll need to hatch it from 12KM eggs. This method is currently the only way to obtain Shroodle in *Pokemon GO*. Starting at 12 AM local time on January 15, 12KM eggs have a chance to hatch into Shroodle, with increased odds during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but it will remain part of the 12KM egg pool afterward.
How To Get 12K Eggs
Given that Shroodle can only be obtained through hatching 12K eggs, it's worth revisiting how to acquire these elusive items in *Pokemon GO*. These eggs are among the rarest in the game and can only be obtained by defeating one of the Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni in battle. The Taken Over event is an excellent opportunity to amass 12KM eggs, as Team GO Rocket will be more active and Rocket Radars will be easier to obtain. However, you can always challenge GO Rocket Grunts to face Sierra, Arlo, or Cliff and earn a 12K egg, provided you have the space in your inventory.
How To Get Grafaiai in Pokemon GO
Shroodle's evolution, Grafaiai, also debuted in *Pokemon GO* on January 15. Unlike Shroodle, Grafaiai does not hatch from eggs or appear in the wild. The only way to get Grafaiai is by evolving a Shroodle, which requires 50 Shroodle Candies. This means you'll need to hatch multiple Shroodle or set one as your buddy to gather the necessary candies to evolve it into Grafaiai in *Pokemon GO*.
*Pokemon GO is available to play now*.
