Developer Nosniy Games has shared detailed patch notes for this latest update, which, while on the shorter side, still packs a punch for fans eager for fresh content.

The Gunblade, a versatile addition to the arsenal, seamlessly blends the functionality of a rifle with the brute force of a melee weapon, allowing players to switch tactics mid-fight. This unique weapon could be the key to outsmarting opponents, particularly on the new Bridge map. Set in Seoul and designed by creator @GreatGuyBoom, this map features a compact, concrete environment that forces players into intense, close-quarters combat right from the start.

Notably, the Rivals Update 9 patch notes are concise, focusing solely on the Gunblade and Bridge map without delving into bug fixes or balance adjustments. However, Nosniy Games has made minor modifications to the skins of the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi, along with renaming certain Hexxed items to Vexed. The developers have promised that the next major update will introduce the highly anticipated Ranked feature, ensuring that all necessary improvements will be implemented in time.

NEW SPECIAL CHALLENGES!

The Winter Spotlight has been removed and replaced with a brand new set of challenges! Complete a series of tasks on the new Bridge map to earn keys & the limited-time Bungeoppang charm!

OTHER

The Demon Shorty & Demon Uzi skins have been slightly modified. The Hexxed Flare Gun skin, Hexxed Candle skin, and Hexxed wrap have been renamed to Vexed Flare Gun, Vexed Candle, & Vexed, respectively.
