Pawmi & Alolan Vulpix Acquisition Now Live in Pokémon Sleep
This year's Pokémon Sleep winter holiday event brings two adorable additions: Eevee in a Santa hat, Pawmi, and Alolan Vulpix! Let's explore how to catch them.
Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix Debut in Pokémon Sleep
The December 2024 Holiday Dream Shard Research event, running the week of December 23rd, marks the arrival of Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix. Expect boosted encounter rates and bonus Dream Shards throughout the event. Shiny versions will also be available.
Catching Pawmi
Pawmi appears from 3 PM on December 23rd on Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Old Gold Power Plant. Its Snoozing sleep type (a common, light sleep) increases encounter chances. Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot can also appear with the Balanced Sleep type, though less frequently.
Catching Alolan Vulpix
Alolan Vulpix, also debuting at 3 PM on December 23rd, is rarer, appearing only on Snowdrop Tundra. Its Slumbering sleep type (requiring a deep, 8-hour sleep) makes it more challenging to find. Like Pawmi, it may also appear with the Balanced Sleep type, but less often.
Best Island for the Holiday Event
To maximize your chances of catching both Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix, focus on Snowdrop Tundra. However, be aware of the island's higher team requirements. Prepare your Snowdrop team beforehand for optimal results.
Pokémon GO is available on iOS and Android.
