Open-World ARPG Emerges from Shadows as Beta Nears

Wang Yue, a fantasy ARPG, is gearing up for its technical test phase after securing its publishing license in China. This initial test will allow a select group of players to experience the game, identify bugs, and provide valuable feedback before the official launch.

A World Divided

Wang Yue's technical test plunges players into a world ravaged by a malevolent sun, leaving behind two floating continents due to unusual gravitational forces. The breathtaking, inverted metropolis of Tian Yue City hangs precariously in the sky above a desolate, ruined landscape. Players assume the role of Qing Wu, a mysterious character betrayed and thrust into this bizarre new reality. Unraveling the mysteries of the sun's newfound reverence, the upside-down city, and the shadowy figures hunting Qing Wu forms the core of the narrative.

Player Agency and Dynamic World

Wang Yue breaks free from conventional open-world tropes. Forget repetitive quests; this game emphasizes exploration and player choice. Soar through the skies above Tian Yue City or delve into the secrets hidden within the ruins below – the world responds dynamically to your actions. NPCs react to player behavior, from calling the authorities for disruptive actions to rewarding helpful deeds.

The developers actively seek player input, planning community discussions, design contests, and other engagement opportunities to shape the game's development. Registration for the technical test is now open on the official website.
