'Monster Hunter Wilds' Beta Extended

Author : Harper Update : Feb 12,2025

Capcom extends the Monster Hunter Wilds beta following a PlayStation Network outage. The outage, lasting approximately 24 hours, began Friday, February 7th at 3 PM PT, preventing online gameplay. In response to the widespread disruption, Sony compensated PlayStation Plus subscribers with five extra days of service.

The Monster Hunter Wilds beta, particularly its popular second session scheduled for February 6th-9th, was significantly impacted. To compensate for the lost playtime, Capcom has announced a 24-hour extension to the next beta session. This extended session will now run from Thursday, February 13th at 7 PM PT (February 14th, 3 AM GMT) to Monday, February 17th at 6:59 PM PT (February 18th, 2:59 AM GMT).

Capcom confirmed that participation bonuses, redeemable in the full game, remain available during this extended beta period. Despite the previous network issues, beta testers had the opportunity to engage with Arkveld, a challenging new monster.

Monster Hunter Wilds officially launches on February 28th, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
