Amazon secured the rights to adapt the Mass Effect games in 2021, and the TV series is now under development at Amazon MGM Studios. The project boasts a notable team including Michael Gamble (Mass Effect project leader), Karim Zreik (former Marvel Television producer), Avi Arad (movie producer), and Daniel Casey (Fast & Furious 9 writer).

The challenge of adapting Mass Effect's choice-driven narrative is significant. The games' dynamic characters and customizable protagonist, Commander Shepard, present unique casting hurdles.
