The Fantastic Four's full reunion is almost here! Marvel Rivals is getting a major update next Friday, introducing The Thing and The Human Torch to the roster.

A ranked checkpoint arrives in just 10 days, rewarding players who participated in ranked matches. Gold rank and above unlocks exclusive skins, while Grandmasters and beyond receive a prestigious Crest of Honor.

However, a partial rank reset is planned – a four-division demotion for all players. This decision has drawn criticism, as players feel their hard-earned progress is unfairly diminished mid-season. The potential discouragement of casual players is a significant concern.

Developers acknowledge the negative feedback and remain open to future adjustments. If the response is strongly negative, the rank reset policy may be revised.
