Hogwarts Legacy will support mods and it will happen sooner than you think

WB Games has an exciting announcement for all Harry Potter enthusiasts: starting this Thursday, Hogwarts Legacy will support mods, but this feature will be exclusive to PC players. This significant update is poised to be the highlight of a patch that will be downloadable on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The update will introduce the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a comprehensive toolkit that empowers fans to craft new content, including dungeons, quests, and character modifications. The renowned platform CurseForge will be responsible for hosting and distributing these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will implement a mod manager, simplifying the process of discovering and installing mods that pique your interest.

As soon as the update rolls out on Thursday, players can dive into several pre-approved mods, such as the "Dungeon of Doom." This new dungeon promises an exciting challenge with numerous enemies to battle and hidden secrets to uncover. However, there's an important note: to access these mods, you'll need to link your game account to a WB Games account.

Alongside the mod support, the patch will enhance character customization with new hairstyles and additional outfits. The developers have provided a glimpse of these mods in the latest trailer.

In other news, the development of the sequel to Hogwarts Legacy is already underway. Warner Bros. Discovery has emphasized that this project is one of their top priorities for the coming years.
