Hearthstone's Season 8 has arrived, bringing exciting updates to Battlegrounds! This season introduces new heroes, minions, cards, and game-changing Trinkets, alongside improvements seasoned players will appreciate. Let's explore the highlights.

Trinkets: Your New Power-Ups

The core addition is Trinkets – powerful upgrades available on turns 6 and 9, with four options to choose from each time. There are 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets, some of which can be obtained multiple times. The available Trinkets are tailored to your hero and current board composition, ensuring diverse strategic options for Elemental, Dragon, Murloc, and other themed strategies.

Meet Marin the Manager, the New Hero

Marin the Manager joins the roster, offering a significant advantage: he allows you to acquire a Trinket one turn earlier than usual. This early access can prove decisive in securing victory.

Minions and Spells: A Roster Refresh

Season 8 sees a minion refresh; 41 minions are leaving, making way for 22 returning favorites and 27 brand-new minions. Adding to the excitement are 2 new Tavern spells. Among the new cards are:

• Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
• Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Strengthens your lower-tier minions.
• Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms into a Golden Tier 3 minion.
• Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.

Marin Resort’s Treasure Hunt Event

From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort’s Treasure Hunt event. Complete event quests to earn a total of 14 packs, including those from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang’s Workshop.
