Clash of Clans is set to ditch Troop Training times in major overhaul
Clash of Clans, an iconic name in mobile gaming, is set to undergo a significant transformation by completely eliminating troop training times. This change promises to revolutionize gameplay, allowing players to deploy their armies almost instantly and dive into battles faster than ever before. However, it's crucial for players to use their existing Training Potions or Treats before the update, as these items will soon be converted to Gems and removed from in-app purchases and chest rewards.
While Clash of Clans may show signs of aging, Supercell has been diligently modernizing the game. The removal of training times follows the earlier elimination of training costs in 2022, marking a significant shift in the game's mechanics. As of now, Training Potions and Training Treats will still be available in the Trader and Gold Pass, but they won't last long. Use them or lose them before the end of the month!
To help players adapt to this new change, Supercell is introducing a feature called "Match Anytime." This mechanic allows you to attack a snapshot of another player's base when no real opponents are available. You'll earn rewards without affecting the original base owner, a system already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, now becoming standard.
Keep an eye out for additional changes, including Army Donations now requiring Elixirs or Dark Elixirs. For a comprehensive overview, check out the full details on the Supercell blog!
