Grand Piece Online Mini Update Patch Notes Reveal Balance Adjustments and New Turtleback Cave Island
The popular Roblox game, Grand Piece Online, a long-running anime-inspired pirate adventure, has launched a February mini-update. This update introduces the Turtleback Cave island, the Kira fruit, and various balance adjustments.
The new island, located north of Rose Kingdom in the Second Sea, features a new boss: Juzo the Diamondback. Defeating this boss rewards players with the Turtleback Armor and Helmet, with a 5% chance of dropping the Kira fruit and a smaller chance of dropping a Mythical Fruit Chest. The island's boss respawns every 15 minutes. A new player list displaying crew and player names has also been added. Crew adjustments include five new shop items, an increase in shop slots from four to eight, increased mythical fruit chances in the shop, and the ability to purchase current and past battle pass outfits.
This mini-update also includes significant balance changes. Arena Storm has been replaced with a countdown system, determining winners based on damage dealt and remaining stocks (each stock equals 10,000 damage). Numerous fruits and fighting styles have received adjustments, including Tori, Pteranodon, Buddha, Venom, Yuki, Gold, Zushi, Mochi V2, Snowcap Scepter, Inferno Rocket Blade, Abyssal Karate, and 3 Sword Style, aiming for a more balanced gameplay experience.
Launched in 2018, Grand Piece Online continues to receive updates. Following the January 17th update focusing on water and travel mechanics, this mini-update demonstrates the developers' ongoing commitment to the game.
