To address the situation, Annapurna Interactive has appointed Hector Sanchez, a co-founder, as its new president. While sources suggest Sanchez intends to honor existing contracts and replace departed staff, the impact on ongoing collaborations remains to be seen. Remedy Entertainment, for instance, clarified that their agreement for Control 2 is with Annapurna Pictures and that they are self-publishing the game.
