Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Sign-Ups Open January 10th

The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign network test begins accepting registrations on January 10th, 2025. However, this initial test will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in The Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. Targeted for a 2025 release, the game will undergo at least one network test prior to launch.

This limited-time beta opens Friday, January 10th. Interested players can register via the official website. While the number of available spots remains undisclosed, it's likely to be a limited selection.

How to Register for the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test:

1. Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website starting January 10th.
2. Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
3. Await confirmation email (arriving no later than February 2025).
4. Participate in the test during February 2025.

Platform Limitations and Other Details:

This beta's exclusivity to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S represents less than half of the game's planned platforms (also including PS4, Xbox One, and PC). Cross-platform play is not supported, meaning players will only be matched with others on the same console. Progress made during the test will likely not carry over to the full game. Future betas are possible, but unconfirmed.

Further network limitations include party sizes; only solo play or three-player parties are supported. No two-player option will be available. Additional gameplay restrictions during the network test are yet to be announced.
