How To Become & Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite Chapter 6

Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla is stomping onto the Battle Royale Island, and you can either become the beast or bring it down. This guide details how to participate in this epic event.

Becoming Godzilla:

Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the map in each game. Be the first to find and enter this portal to transform into Godzilla!

Once transformed, unleash Godzilla's devastating abilities: a Roar to locate opponents, a Mighty Stomp Attack to send them flying, and a powerful Heat Ray to inflict significant damage. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be hunting you!

Defeating Godzilla:

If you weren't lucky enough to become Godzilla, prepare for an intense battle! Epic Games has strategically placed Godzilla's weak points. Focus your fire on these areas to trigger the drop of Godzilla Fragments, providing 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key!

The Rail Gun has been unvaulted for this event. This weapon, along with other high-rarity firearms, will help you inflict substantial damage. The player who contributes the most damage to Godzilla earns the coveted Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.

Even if you don't become Godzilla, defeating him offers incredible rewards and bragging rights!
