Dawn's Neomun-Cake: A Destiny 2 Delicacy

This year's Destiny 2 Dawning event lets you bake treats for NPCs using collected ingredients. While many recipes return, some are new. Here's how to craft the Neomun-Cake.

Neomun-Cake Recipe

To bake a Neomun-Cake in Destiny 2, you'll need:

• Vex Milk (from defeating Vex enemies)
• Dark Frosting (from defeating enemies using Stasis or Strand abilities/weapons)
• 15 Dawning Essence (earned through various in-game activities)

Dawning Essence is readily acquired through regular gameplay, weekly, and daily activities.

To efficiently gather ingredients, equip a Stasis or Strand weapon (abilities work too). Nessus is ideal for Vex hunting; patrol freely or tackle Lost Sectors. Strikes also yield Vex kills, but Nessus is generally faster.

Baking the Neomun-Cake

Once you've collected all ingredients, open your inventory and access Eva Levante's Holiday Oven 2.4. Select the Neomun-Cake recipe to begin baking.

The Dawning often involves baking various goods for different NPCs. The Neomun-Cake is a requirement for quests like the Cookie Delivery Helper, which also includes older recipes like Lavender Ribbon Cookies.
