How To Get Costume Minccino in Pokemon GO

The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, featuring returning costumed Pokémon and a new addition: Minccino and Cinccino in stylish outfits!

When is Costume Minccino Available?

Costume Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These fashionable Pokémon sport rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. While Costume Minccino can be Shiny, its evolved form, Costume Cinccino, cannot.

The event also brings back costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms in the wild and Raids.

How to Catch Costume Minccino:

Unlike previous events, obtaining Costume Minccino is a bit more challenging. It's available through two methods:

One-Star Raids:

Costume Minccino appears in One-Star Raids, generally easy to complete solo. However, One-Star Raids also feature Costume Shinx and Furfrou, so you might need to check multiple Gyms.

Paid Timed Research:

A $5 USD (or equivalent) Paid Timed Research ticket offers guaranteed Costume Minccino encounters, along with XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and other event Pokémon.

Field Research Tasks:

While Field Research Tasks offer event Pokémon encounters, Niantic hasn't specified if Costume Minccino will be among them. It's possible, but not guaranteed.

Obtaining Costume Cinccino:

To get Costume Cinccino, evolve your Costume Minccino using 50 Minccino Candy and a Unova Stone.
