BrownDust2 Unveils Onsen Training Update with Captivating Storyline

Neowiz and Gamfs N's BrownDust2 heats up with its latest content update: Onsen Training! Following their December 1.5-year anniversary celebration, this update plunges players into a Japanese winter hot spring setting, filled with swordplay, challenging battles, and a healthy dose of monkey mischief.

BrownDust2's Onsen Training: A Steaming Good Time

The update introduces three new characters: Ventana (the event protagonist and available via pickup draw), Liberta (also available via pickup draw), and Blade (story-exclusive). The Onsen Training event story unfolds within the same universe as Character Pack 1: Jayden’s Gate, featuring 30 battles across 15 normal and 15 challenge modes.

Ventana, the Kendo Club captain, seeks to regain her honor after a defeat. Her hot spring training is disrupted by mischievous monkeys, leading to an encounter with Blade, a legendary Kendo Club graduate who initially refuses to train her. Liberta, the hot spring manager, intervenes, offering to help Ventana secure Blade's tutelage.

A New Mini-Game: Onsen Tile Tactics

This time-based tile-clearing mini-game adds another layer of fun. The event story is divided into phases: Legendary Graduate (week one), culminating in Beyond Legend (week three). Players will face returning and new bosses, including the returning Giant Rou, the formidable Snowy Mountain Tyrant (week three – vulnerable to DoT effects), and the debuting Rucersingha, the Ruler of the Void (requiring significant chain stacks to defeat).

New gear and costumes are also up for grabs. The Onsen Practitioner Ventana costume is available until January 30th, followed by the Onsen Manager Liberta costume, available until February 13th.
