How to Brew Coffee in Wanderstop
In Ivy Road and Annapurna Interactive's Wanderstop, players step into the shoes of Alta, a weary fighter seeking solace and recovery in the serene environment of a magical forest tea shop. As Alta, you'll manage the shop and cater to a diverse clientele, some of whom crave coffee, a beverage not typically on the menu. Here's a detailed guide on unlocking and brewing coffee in Wanderstop.
Which Customers Want Coffee in Wanderstop?
In the fourth cycle of Wanderstop, a stunning humanoid bird visits the shop, seeking a refined cup of tea. Following her departure, three businessmen named Jerry, Larry, and Terry enter, all identically dressed in suits and ties, clutching briefcases, and heading to a boardroom for a presentation.
Alta informs them they're off course and offers tea, but the trio, who only drink coffee, decide to wait at the shop until coffee becomes available. Initially, this seems impossible as Boro, the shop owner, explains that coffee beans don't grow in the forest. The situation shifts with the arrival of Zenith, an interdimensional figure fascinated by the businessmen.
Zenith, intrigued by the businessmen, tries Alta's tea and finds it a novel experience compared to coffee. This encounter sets the stage for the introduction of coffee to the tea shop.

How to Unlock Coffee Beans in Wanderstop
To unlock coffee beans, prepare a special cup of tea for Zenith using a valuable item such as a book, trinket, pot, mug, small plant, or photograph. After sampling this unique tea, Zenith becomes curious about the differences between tea and coffee. When Alta mentions "coffee beans," Zenith uses the Infinite Path to bring coffee beans to the forest, allowing them to grow in the clearing for the first time. Instructions for harvesting and brewing are then added to Alta's Field Guide.
How to Harvest and Brew Coffee in Wanderstop
After Zenith introduces coffee beans, they begin to grow wild in the clearing and respawn randomly. Harvest them like fruits and seeds, and store them in your ingredients pocket, carry them by hand, or place them on various surfaces around the shop.
Before brewing, coffee beans must be cleaned. Use the dishwasher and wait for the cleaned beans to be delivered by the dish trains to the tea room.
To brew coffee, fill the tea maker with water and heat it if required. Add one coffee bean to the infuser and kick the gear to pour the water over it. Customers might request additional beans or other ingredients. After brewing, kick the gear again to pour the coffee into the kettle below, then decant it into mugs for serving to customers, Boro, or Alta herself.
Introducing coffee not only satisfies the businessmen but also delights Zenith and provides a new option for other customers. Even Boro, though not a fan, is willing to give it a try.
That's how you unlock, harvest, and brew coffee in Wanderstop.
Wanderstop is available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.
