Player Compensation and Final Updates

Blue Protocol Global Release Canceled as Japan Servers Close DownBandai Namco has announced the closure of Blue Protocol's Japanese servers on January 18, 2025, effectively canceling the planned global release. The company cited its inability to deliver a consistently satisfactory service as the reason. They expressed regret for the cancellation and disappointment at ending the partnership with Amazon Games.

To compensate players, Bandai Namco will provide 5,000 Rose Orbs monthly (beginning September 2024) and 250 Rose Orbs daily until the game's closure. Rose Orbs will no longer be purchasable or refundable. Furthermore, the Season 9 pass will be free, and the final update (Chapter 7) is scheduled for December 18, 2024.

However, server issues and subsequent player dissatisfaction led to a rapid decline in the player base. This underperformance, previously hinted at in Bandai Namco's financial report (ending March 31, 2024), ultimately led to the decision to cease operations.

Despite its strong initial interest, Blue Protocol failed to sustain its player base and meet financial projections, resulting in the cancellation of the global release and the closure of the Japanese servers.
