Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update
Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, as Mecha Weka unveils the monumental 'Trans Edition' update for Battlecruisers 6.4. This update brings a wealth of new content that enhances both single-player and multiplayer experiences, ensuring players have even more to explore and enjoy.
What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?
The update introduces three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each adding unique tactical options to the battlefield. Alongside them, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available, enriching strategic gameplay.
Existing cruisers are not left behind, as they receive new customization options through three fresh bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing players to personalize their fleets further.
Skirmish modes have been expanded to include the choice of Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding depth to the competitive scene. PvP matches now feature a countdown at the start and aircraft trails that match player colors, enhancing the visual and competitive experience.
Balance adjustments have been made across the board. For instance, the Raptor's shield build and recharge rate have been significantly improved, moving from 3x to 5x, while the Hammerhead's health has been bumped up from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret's damage has been increased from 40 to 60, albeit with a reduced range from 19 to 16, reflecting careful tuning for gameplay balance.
Visually, the game has been enhanced with underwater transparency, allowing players to savor the sight of their defeated enemies' wreckage. The sea's shading has been improved, and cruiser and ship deaths are now more dramatic and satisfying to watch.

Since its inception in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates each year, and the Trans Edition is no exception. It adds more side quests and introduces a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, promising new adventures and challenges.
Set in a flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's universe is populated by robots engaged in endless construction and warfare. As a player, you command your own battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to combat a formidable array of enemies.
