Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0 Brings Lobby Revamp and New Portals Game Mode

Roblox developer Kitawari has released Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0, a major update bringing significant changes to the tower defense game's unit roster, lobby, and numerous quality-of-life improvements.

This update continues the winter festivities with new additions designed to keep players engaged for weeks. The most noticeable change is the completely overhauled lobby, offering significantly more space for anime fans to prepare for each session. This is accompanied by a remastered UI, including a redesigned, cleaner stage selection interface.

Kitawari explained in the patch notes: "We heard your feedback about the previous lobby; it was too small and cramped, and we were running out of space for new game modes. Get ready for our stunning new lobby—10 times more impressive than before, and featuring a customizable day and night cycle, adjustable in the settings!"

Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0 adds a revamped lobby, 12 new units, and more.

A key addition is the new Portals game mode. Kitawari encourages players to utilize winter units and skins to boost team damage and unlock additional rewards. Also included is Sandbox Mode, allowing players to experiment with strategies without limitations. The update also introduces 12 new units obtainable through a new Winter Banner, the Portals game mode, the battle pass, and new leaderboard rewards.

Quality-of-life improvements include smoother unit placement, Evolution Quests now appearing in a dedicated tab, and searchable lists for skins and familiars. Units now also clearly highlight their target enemy. All these improvements are available in Winter Update 3.0.
