Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete Snack Guide: Maximize Friendship Levels

This guide covers everything you need to know about snacks in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, from obtaining them to strategically using them to boost friendship levels and progress faster. Increasing friendship levels earns you Camp Manager Level experience, making efficient snack usage crucial, especially for new players.

Acquiring Snacks in Pocket Camp Complete

The most reliable method for obtaining snacks is through Gulliver's Ship.

Gulliver's Ship Guide

Gulliver's Ship expeditions to special islands (gold islands) yield Villager Maps. Completing a special island rewards you with 20 Gold Treats. If you've already collected all Villager Maps, sending Gulliver to any island on the map will provide various snacks. Isle of Style islands guarantee 3 Gold Treats as a souvenir and another 3 as a completion bonus.

Only three islands are visible at a time. You can refresh the island selection once daily using the icon in the upper-right corner.

Gulliver's Ship requires cargo, crafted from your furniture catalog. Some islands require specific furniture types. For instance, Exotic Island (for modern-themed snacks) accepts Plain Packages, Plain Crates, or exotic-themed furniture (like an Exotic Rug).

Island snack types are previewed by tapping the magnifying glass on the island icon. Longer expeditions (6 hours) generally offer more treats than shorter ones (4 hours or less). For example, Piano Island provides all Tart Snack varieties (Plain, Tasty, Gourmet).

Alternative Snack Sources

  • Requests and Gifts: Completing requests and receiving gifts from campsite visitors may yield Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats.
  • Daily Goals: Check your Daily Goals for Silver and Gold Treats.
  • Blathers's Treasure Trek: Use Blathers's Treasure Trek with the Auto-Trek option (costs 5 Leaf Tokens) to obtain all treats on a Villager Map (Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats only).

Optimizing Snack Usage

How to Give Snacks

Always check an animal's theme before gifting a snack. Matching themes maximize friendship points. Generic treats (Bronze, Silver, Gold) are universally accepted. Gold Treats offer the highest friendship point gain (25 points). Giving 10 Gold Treats to a level 1 animal boosts them to level 15.

Find an animal's theme by tapping their icon at your campsite or checking their profile in your Contacts or Pete's Parcel Service. To give a snack, tap the animal and select "Have a snack!" (highlighted in red).

By following these tips, you'll effectively manage your snacks and accelerate your progress in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete.
