Tarneeb is a card game played by two teams, each with players sitting opposite each other at a table. A standard 52-card deck is used, and play proceeds counter-clockwise. Each player attempts to predict the number of "Allmat" (tricks) their team will win in a given round.

The player who wins the bid to declare "Tarneeb" throws a type of paper onto the floor. Other players must then throw the same type of paper. The first player to successfully match the type of paper wins the "Bamh." If a player doesn't have a matching paper, they forfeit their chance to declare "Tarneeb." "Tarneeb" papers are superior to other types; the player throwing the strongest "Tarneeb" paper wins, unless a stronger "Tarneeb" is played.

The round ends when all players have played. Points are tallied. A team only scores points if they successfully achieve or exceed their bid for "Allmat." If successful, their total "Allmat" count is added to their score; the other team receives no points. If they fail, their points are deducted, and the other team's "Allmat" count is added to their score.

If a team wins 13 tricks without bidding for 13, they gain 16 points. If they bid for and win 13 tricks, they receive 26 points. However, if a team bids for 13 tricks and fails, 16 points are deducted from their score.

The game concludes when one team reaches a total score of 41 or more points, declaring them the winner.
