For example, Grace's initial dominance has waned with the introduction of more powerful Anomaly units, particularly the overpowered Miyabi. This updated list reflects the current character landscape and their relative strengths.
S-Tier
S-Tier characters excel in their roles and synergize exceptionally well with others.
Miyabi
Miyabi's swift Frost attacks and immense damage output make her a top contender. While requiring strategic play, mastering her abilities unleashes devastating battlefield dominance.
Jane Doe
Jane Doe surpasses Piper with superior critical hit potential on her Assault Anomaly, resulting in significantly higher damage. Despite Anomaly's generally slower pace, her potent Assault capabilities earn her an S-rank alongside Zhu Yuan and Ellen.
Yanagi
Yanagi excels at triggering Disorder, activating the effect without needing additional Shock. Her effectiveness hinges on existing enemy Anomalies, making her an ideal partner for Miyabi.
Zhu Yuan
Zhu Yuan is a formidable DPS, dealing rapid damage with her Shotshells. She pairs well with Stun and Support characters; in version 1.1, her optimal teammates are Qingyi and Nicole, who respectively provide quick stuns and Ether damage boosts.
Caesar
Caesar redefines defensive Agents. Beyond exceptional protection, she offers significant buffs and debuffs, scaling with Impact for easy stuns and crowd control.
Qingyi
Qingyi is a versatile Stunner, effective in any squad with an Attack Agent. Her fluid movements and rapid Daze build-up, coupled with a substantial damage multiplier on stunned enemies, surpass Lycaon and Koleda, except in Ellen teams where Lycaon's extra Ice effects prove advantageous.
Lighter
Lighter's kit provides significant buffs, synergizing best with Fire and Ice characters, his high placement reflects the strength of these elemental units.
Lycaon
Lycaon, an Ice unit, utilizes charged attacks to apply Ice and Daze, enhancing Anomaly reactions. His ability to reduce Ice resistance and boost ally Daze damage makes him essential in Ice teams.
Ellen
Ellen's Ice-based attacks excel with Lycaon and Soukaku. After Lycaon's stuns and Soukaku's buffs, Ellen delivers devastating blows, especially with her EX Special Attacks and Ultimates.
Harumasa
Harumasa, a free-to-play Electric-Attack character, requires specific build-up to unleash his full potential.
Soukaku
Soukaku provides Ice buffs, synergizing well with Ice units like Ellen and Lycaon, enhancing their damage output.
Rina
Rina's support role involves dealing damage while granting PEN (defense ignore) to allies. Her high damage output stems from sharing PEN, making PEN Ratio crucial in her build. She also enhances Shock Anomaly and buffs Shock reactions, benefitting Electric characters.
A-Tier
A-Tier characters are strong in specific team compositions but generally perform well in their roles.
Nicole
Nicole's Ether support abilities pull enemies into energy fields, benefiting AoE units like Nekomata. She significantly reduces enemy DEF and increases team Ether DMG.
Seth
Seth provides shielding and support, but not at the level of top-tier buffers like Soukaku and Caesar. His niche support for Anomaly DPS contrasts with the broader ATK buff benefits for Anomaly teams.
Lucy
Lucy's off-field damage and ATK% buff make her a valuable support unit. Synergizing with other characters further enhances her DPS.
Piper
Piper's EX Special Attack is a standout, triggering Assault and building Physical Anomaly. She works well with other Anomaly units to consistently trigger Disorder.
Grace
Grace excels at quickly shocking enemies, triggering continuous damage. She synergizes with Anomaly-building characters to trigger Disorder. However, newer Anomaly Agents have diminished her relative strength.
Koleda
Koleda is a reliable Fire/Stun character, effective in teams with other Fire units. Her synergy with Ben extends beyond stats, adding new movesets.
Anby
Anby is a reliable Stun unit with quick and effective combos. Her susceptibility to interruption holds her back compared to other Stun Agents.
Soldier 11
Soldier 11's straightforward gameplay involves high damage output, particularly when her Basic Attacks are infused with Fire through her Chain Attack, Ultimate, or EX Special Attack.
B-Tier
B-Tier characters offer some utility, but other characters perform better in their respective roles.
Ben
Ben is a defensive character with parry and punish mechanics. His slow speed and limited team benefits outside of a Crit Rate buff, coupled with the effectiveness of dodging, place him lower on the tier list.
Nekomata
Nekomata deals high AoE damage but relies heavily on team support. Her limited synergy options currently hinder her performance.
C-Tier
C-Tier characters currently offer limited value.
Corin
Corin's Physical damage excels against stunned enemies, but other characters, like Nekomata and Piper, outperform her.
Billy
Billy's damage output is underwhelming, despite his flashy attacks. His effectiveness in quick-swap teams is outweighed by other DPS characters.
Anton
