Free Fire's Winterlands Festival Returns with Aurora!

Free Fire's Winterlands festival is back, bringing a dazzling Aurora display and a host of exciting new features. This year's update introduces Koda, a tactical new character; Frosty Tracks, icy pathways for strategic movement; and an Aurora Forecast system that dynamically impacts gameplay.

Meet Koda: The Arctic Mastermind

Hailing from a high-tech arctic region, Koda possesses the unique "Aurora Vision" ability. This allows for increased movement speed and the ability to spot enemies concealed behind obstacles, even providing a preview of enemy positions while parachuting. His backstory reveals a childhood connection with snow foxes, discovered under an aurora's mystical glow, shaping his skills and focus on the battlefield.

Aurora-Infused Gameplay

The Aurora theme transforms Bermuda, painting the sky with vibrant displays and introducing the Aurora Forecast system. This system provides in-game buffs based on the aurora's activity, adding a dynamic element to combat.

Frosty Tracks: Icy Adventures

New Frosty Tracks, rideable icy paths, appear across the map in Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes. These paths offer unique strategic advantages, allowing players to traverse areas like the Festival Clock Tower and Factory (Bermuda) while maintaining combat capabilities. Collecting coins from Special Coin Machines along the tracks rewards players with 100 FF Coins. Clash Squad players will find similar frosty highways in locations like Katulistiwa, Mill, and Hangar.

Random Aurora Events and Friend Challenges

Battle Royale players can discover aurora-enhanced Coin Machines, while Clash Squad players encounter aurora-infused Supply Gadgets. Interacting with these elements completes event quests and grants squad buffs. A fun social element is added through snowball representations of friends on the event interface when playing in squads, with exclusive friend tasks unlocking rewards such as an AWM skin and a Melee Skin.
