Winged introduces your kids to literary classics as a cute platformer, out now
Winged: A Literary Adventure for the Whole Family
In today's digital age, getting kids interested in reading can feel like a Herculean task. But what if learning could be fun, and even a little bit adventurous? Enter Winged, a new auto-runner platformer from Sorara Game Studio and Druzina Content, designed to introduce children (and parents!) to the magic of classic literature.
Winged features Ruth, a winged protagonist who races through vibrant worlds inspired by beloved children's stories. By collecting pages, Ruth unlocks new levels and excerpts from famous books, turning gameplay into a literary journey.
With 50 stages across five maps, and ten books represented, Winged offers a diverse range of experiences. Explore worlds inspired by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Arabian Nights, and many more. Between levels, unlock and read excerpts from Don Quixote, Peter Pan, Jack and the Beanstalk, and other literary classics.
More Than Just a Game
Winged marks Druzina Content's first solo game, and it proudly features a strong female protagonist. But the game's appeal extends beyond gender representation; it's designed as a shared experience for the whole family.
Winged offers a unique and engaging way to introduce children to classic literature. While long-term effects on reading habits remain to be seen, it's undeniably a fun and interactive way for children and parents to bond. Available on iOS and Android in six languages, it’s easily accessible and ready for download.
