World of Warcraft Reveals Second Turbulent Timeways Timewalking Event Schedule

World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways!

Get ready for a Timewalking marathon! World of Warcraft's Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering a whopping seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns until February 24th. Players can earn exciting new rewards, amass Timewarped Badges, and enjoy a significant experience boost. Complete the Mastery of Timeways challenge in five out of the seven weeks to unlock the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement and claim the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount!

This extended event builds upon the successful five-week run from September 2023. Each week features a different Timewalking expansion, starting with Mists of Pandaria on January 7th and concluding with Cataclysm the week of February 18th. The familiar Timewalking quests, dungeons, and raids return, along with the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff (a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons).

World of Warcraft Turbulent Timeways Event Schedule:

• January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic
• February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
• February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
• February 18-24: Cataclysm

This year's event brings even more rewards! Each expansion's Timewalking vendor offers new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. Players who missed the Sandy Shalewing pet from the previous Turbulent Timeways event will have another chance to acquire it. Furthermore, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest will now reward Heroic gear throughout the event's duration.

Achieving Mastery of Timeways in at least five of these seven weeks will grant you the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement and the adorable Timely Buzzbee mount.

With the recent 20th-anniversary event's 11 weeks of Timewalking already behind us, this adds up to an incredible 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking!

The Turbulent Timeways event's conclusion date also hints at future World of Warcraft plans. The final Timewalking campaign ends on February 24th. Considering Blizzard's typical eight-week release cycle and the holiday season, this strongly suggests a February 25th release for World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, Undermined, ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. Combined with the second run of Plunderstorm (January 14th – February 17th) and the upcoming major content update for The War Within, World of Warcraft is setting the stage for a thrilling start to 2025.
