World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 is Adding More Areas than Just Undermine

Summary

  • World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined," introduces Undermine, a new zone, and two subzones: Gutterville and Kaja'Coast.
  • Gutterville, located in the Ringing Deeps, features Excavation Site 9 and shows signs of corruption. It's likely a connection point to Undermine.
  • Kaja'Coast, a Goblin camp near Zuldazar's Bilgewater Bonanza, is another potential access point to Undermine.

World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermined," plunges players into the vibrant underground Goblin capital of Undermine—a city brimming with towering buildings, narrow streets, and ingenious contraptions. But Undermine isn't the only new addition. Data mining reveals at least two new subzones expanding the World of Warcraft experience.

Gutterville, situated in the southeastern Ringing Deeps, is a significant addition. While its precise function remains unknown, its proximity suggests it serves as an entrance to Undermine. The maroon coloration on maps hints at Black Blood corruption and the location of Excavation Site 9, one of the patch's new Delves.

Meanwhile, in Zuldazar, the Kaja’Coast—a new Goblin settlement near the Bilgewater Bonanza—adds another layer to the expansion. This location, possibly connected to the tram showcased in the Warcraft Direct announcement, likely provides another route into Undermine.

New Locations in World of Warcraft Patch 11.1

  • Undermine: The subterranean Goblin capital, a completely new zone.
  • Gutterville: A subzone in the southeastern Ringing Deeps.
  • Kaja’Coast: A Goblin camp on Zuldazar's southwestern coast.

The discovered Undermine map reveals Slam Central Station as the likely entry point, featuring five visible terminals. Given Gutterville and Kaja'Coast are two, three more locations might receive Goblin-themed updates.

While a precise release date is pending, Patch 11.1 is anticipated for mid-to-late February. However, its arrival on the Public Test Realm (PTR) in early January offers players a sneak peek at this exciting new content.
