Varlamore's Darkness Inundates Old School RuneScape

Old School RuneScape's latest update, Varlamore: The Rising Darkness, plunges players into a thrilling new chapter. This expansion unveils an expanded northern region, introducing a formidable challenge: a massive serpent residing in the treacherous Hailstorm Mountains.

New Adventures Await:

Players must brave the snowy peaks, forging alliances with unexpected companions—members of a Dwarven party and a priest—to confront the fearsome Hueycoatl. Victory yields impressive rewards, including the Tome of Earth, a Dragon Hunter Wand (the first magic-infused dragonbane weapon), and the prestigious Hueycoatl Hide Armour.

Beyond the icy mountains lies Aldarin Island, a haven for Herblore enthusiasts. Here, players can cultivate, mix, and master alchemy with a diverse array of herbs.

For a change of pace, the Colossal Wyrm Agility Course offers a unique challenge. Players can assist Worm Tongue, an aged anteater, in ridding the Wyrm's remains of a termite infestation. This endeavor rewards players with Agility XP and valuable items, such as the Varlamore Graceful Recolour and a skeleton transmog for their Squirrel pet.

The Heart of Darkness quest, a continuation of Children of the Sun and Twilight’s Promise, delves into the mystery surrounding the Twilight Emissaries and an assassination attempt on Servius.
