How To Unlock & Equip the Buffer Weight Stock in Black Ops 6
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Buffer Weight Stock attachment is causing some weapons to become overpowered, but acquiring and using it isn't straightforward. Here's how to unlock and equip it.
Unlocking the Buffer Weight Stock
Unlike most attachments earned through leveling, the Buffer Weight Stock is unlocked via the in-game "The Hit List" event. Access the "Event" tab in the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer main menu. Locate the "Community" section within the event; the Buffer Weight Stock will be listed there. Simply viewing this page unlocks the attachment (the initial community goal of eight billion eliminations has been surpassed).
Equipping the Buffer Weight Stock
The Buffer Weight Stock's use is limited to three weapons: the XM4 Assault Rifle, the DM-10 Marksman Rifle, and the XMG Light Machine Gun. This restriction prevents the attachment from dominating gameplay. The Buffer Weight Stock significantly enhances accuracy, making it highly valuable on these compatible weapons.
To equip it, navigate to the Gunsmith for your chosen weapon. Select the "Stock" attachment slot and choose the Buffer Weight Stock. It's then ready to use in Multiplayer. Continue participating in The Hit List to unlock additional rewards.
