Tencent's Morefun Studios Unveils New Martial Arts Game "The Hidden Ones"

Morefun Studios' highly anticipated 3D action game, previously known as Hitori no Shita: The Outcast, is back with a new title: The Hidden Ones. Set for a 2025 release, with a pre-alpha test slated for January, this game promises a thrilling blend of 3D brawling, parkour, and intense martial arts action.

Based on the popular webcomic, The Hidden Ones follows the journey of young martial artist Zhang Chulan as he uncovers the extraordinary power of his grandfather's teachings and finds himself thrust into a world of high-stakes martial arts conflicts. The game also features Wang Ye as a secondary protagonist.

The recently released gameplay trailer (see below) showcases impressive combat mechanics, including fluid parkour movements across cityscapes, energy projectile exchanges, and intense close-quarters brawling.

The game's darker, grittier aesthetic sets it apart from other 3D ARPGs, offering a more grounded and visceral experience. However, the game's success will hinge on its ability to attract players unfamiliar with the source material.
